I bought this item because I wanted a smaller set of hot rollers for travel, and am happy with the size.
I have not used it in the US, but when I've used it in Europe, I've noticed that it gets VERY hot - too hot to touch the rollers - so care is needed when using.

Love the curlers, but the metal roller holders were too small for the roller and kept popping off. I had to find another set of 5 metal roller holders that fit the rollers correctly.

Looks like what I wanted. Small like I wanted. It's just the rollers don't stay in because the pins they sent are too small. They shoot across the room before your hair is set.

This is the very best tool I have ever owned. Not only can I wash, dry and style my hair in about half the time it used to take, but this does not use as much heat as my hair dryer (never mind really hot irons). I do, from time to time, add a few curls with a spiral iron if I have the time and reason to look a bit more "finished". I will never be without this tool again. It is so easy to use that even someone somewhat "styling challenged" like me can produce a lovely look every day; and my fine, straight hair (shoulder length) needs cutting and is between lengths..........the hot air brush makes it look freshly styled all of the time. The day after a wash, I can use the hot air brush to refresh the look in five minutes. I LOVE IT!

As an aside, I am disabled, and it is hard for me to hold both dryer and brush for styling; I thought this would be a compromise and that I would not like it as well; I was so wrong-it is superior to any other way I have tried to do my hair and... Read more

Great tool but the reliability is not that great. This one is my #5 in about 6 years. I use it every day and can't imagine not having one. I tried different brands but none work as good as this one. I have fine hair and even using this tool everyday and my hair do not get damaged. Love it but wish reliability would be better.

This is a great styling tool and I love the way it leaves my hair (which, by the way, has to be damp for this to work, not wet), but it burned out after 6 months. For the past two months, it would not turn back on if I shut it off for a moment, then it started shutting off on its own after a couple of minutes of use. Finally it just gave out. I regret giving away my Conair hot air brush, which lasted for a couple of years and was still going when I gave it to my daughter after buying this one. I like this concept, but there are better quality hot air brushes out there.

I have thick 4a texlaxed hair, I decided that I didn't want to continue using the flat iron as often and decided to do roller set's. I love these rollers, I have this color and the orange. I decided to buy these because I was tired of putting in the magnetic rollers that need hair pins. The magnetic rollers I originally had are by Conair and they worked fine, but these snap on rollers are much better. They are wider and hold more of my hair, also the make of it is really great it doesn't have any bumps that can snag your hair. I also noticed that after applying my leave in and oil the roller still has the leave in and oil on it, so I'm thinking that every time I use these I'll have additional moisture. I will clean them off after awhile though. The first few times I used these I used the snap's and I was able to get it in my hair quicker. I gave these a try in my bid to find healthy ways to define the curls in my waist-length, very thick, wavy hair. I hate using curling irons or hair dryers or hot rollers (which never really work on me anyway since my hair is so heavy it would just pull the curl straight down) so I tend to sleep on two braids or twist damp hair around an elastic headband (this works extremely well, by the way. I'll detail it at the bottom). I was hoping to find some easy rollers that could hold the amount of hair that I have and that were comfortable enough to sleep on. These weren't quite as large as I was hoping to find (I wanted a minimum of 2") but decided to try them anyways.

First, I don't understand why they say these are magnetic when they are clearly not. They are simply hard plastic with a hard plastic cover that snaps on through a tight fit rather than any magnetic properties.
