I'm used to doing rag curls, but lately my rag curls are um shedding strings into my hair. Nice. So I thought I'd try the pillowsoft rollers which give pretty much the same curl as the rag curl. I do these as a wet set. I really like them. They are like long leave shapes, enclosed with a little square pillow in the middle and a wire that runs the length. You wrap your hair around the roller and when you get to the top twist the wire to close on the curl. I personally sleep with a night cap over these because my boyfriend is a saint and says I look hot in night caps! They seem pretty sturdy to me, fairly well sewn. They do beat my rags and are much easier than the rags.
