A simple search online or a look around in a beauty supply store or simply asking your hair stylist will let you know that though these rollers are called magnetic, they are not! That is just the name of the product. I have a few sets of magnetic rollers and I love them! They set my african american hair for the week as well as really lowering the damage to my hair (low heat setting on the dryer). There are so many different sizes. When I was growing up there were half sized rollers called spacers. I used to use these quite often when I wanted a specific little curl some where. Now with these new Magnetic Rollers, there are SPACERS! I am just delighted. They are very easy to use and if it is a must, you can actually sleep in them. I just wrap my rolled hair in a silk scarf and off to bed I go. When I wake up, what a wonderful hair curl I have. It lasts ALL day. Kudos for these rollers. There are no picky things sticking out of the rollers to hold the hair in, which by the way, can pull out some hair when removing. You should try these rollers.
